Description

A prompt is an idea that you use as a jumping-off point for inspiration in your writing. It allows for freer, more uninhibited work as you write in short, timed spurts: there’s no room for doubt, second-guessing, or endless revision. Each week, you’ll get four prompts for each timed writing session in four writing heats—and at the end, you choose your favorite piece to read aloud. Write with others in a judgment-free zone, and produce four pieces each week: 24 total during this six-week session. All writers welcome: fiction, poetry, memoir, anything. Get productive!
