• how to organize material and break down your writing tasks into small manageable pieces
• effective ways to illustrate where your family fits in with local, national and world history
• how to blend historical fact with family stories to produce an accurate, interesting narrative, selecting the best details to advance the story
Prerequisite: Basic writing skills and knowledge of family history.
