Description
This course encompasses three separate social and learning workshops that provide stimulating and creative activities to promote well-being. Participants in these classes will learn about and discuss interesting creative arts topics and use their new thinking to engage in art-making themselves. Each class will feature a different topic and art form. A short movement break bridging the learning and art-making portions of class will be incorporated. Through new learning and stimulating creative activities, participants have the opportunity to express themselves and enhance their well-being. The topics we’ll explore are:
- The Interpretation of Colors through Poetry
- Exploring Seasonal Experiences Through Song
- “The Hills Are Alive” – The Significance of Mountains in Art
