We will share our firsthand experience visiting fascinating historical sites and the spectacular scenery and majestic peaks observed on our cruise down the Yangtze River before they built the Three Gorges Dam, which is the world’s largest electricity-producing plant. On our land tour of China, we explored such ancient cities as Shanghai, Chongqing, Wuhan, and Beijing, which included such amazing sites as Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, and our personal favorite—the astonishing marvel of the ancient Terracotta soldiers found in Xian.
