Description
As the Korean War wound down to its uncertain conclusion, the U.S. found itself challenged around the world by communist threats real and perceived. In the decade following Korea, Indochina would gain importance in our global view, but not in isolation. We will look at U.S. international policy after Korea and place the looming conflict in Vietnam in the perspective of the Cold War during the Eisenhower and Kennedy years.
