Description

Over the past 50 years Len has had the opportunity to explore, camp, and hike in approximately 168 of the 432+ sites under the auspices of the National Park Service, which covers more than 85 million acres in every state, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

Today, come on a comprehensive personal trek focusing on the May 18, 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens, where Len will point out causes and effects upon the surrounding landscape, wildlife, humans, and property. Presentation is a mixture of travelogue, local history, and personal stories gained through a special three-week field program.
