Description

With its roots in medieval western Europe, croquet is a social game that combines strategy, skill, and precision; making it a popular pastime for players of all ages. The game involves using mallets to hit balls through wickets on a grass playing court. The game can be played individually or in pairs. It’s easy to learn but hard to play well. The local American Six Wicket league, active from May through the summer months, is one of two hundred chapters of the US Croquet Association.

This introductory class will cover the object of the game, court layout, order of play, boundaries, and basic rules regarding shots, scoring, deadness, rovers and end of game.
