Breathing is essential to life. There are also several mindful ways to use breathing practices to calm the body and mind, reduce stress, increase energy, boost alertness and promote sleep. We will learn and experience several of these techniques, including deep awareness of the breath, proper deep breathing, the three-part breath and pausing at the empty breath. They are all safe and easy to practice and you will see how you might respond differently to each of these approaches. You might never look at breathing the same way again!
