Description

Now that the scourge of the pandemic is hopefully behind us, Americans can again enjoy the great outdoors and the natural beauty and history of our Nation’s awesome past and present. Since 1976 we have had the opportunity to travel, hike, camp and study in 178 of the National Parks Service’s approximately 423 units (parks, monuments, battlefields, historic sites). Discussion will center on a park’s protection, environment, flora and fauna, geography, history and best spots for observing scenic wonders.

We will share our firsthand experiences from the Grand Canyon, Mt. St. Helens, Yellowstone, Hawaii Volcanoes, Arches, Gettysburg, Appomattox, and more.
