Description

Learn about the possibility of other worlds being discovered!  Perhaps even worlds favorable to life! This class will consider characteristics in the development of a planet that render it capable of supporting some form of life. No science fiction here. Information is based upon NASA and SETI investigation and research. In 1993 the number of known planets in the universe was nine—those located in Earth’s solar system. Today, because of the Kepler satellite, many thousands of planets are known. A fascinating topic!
