During March of 1862 of the American Civil War, the way battles would be fought upon the world’s seas would forever change! Learn the whole story of the conflict between the ironclads, the Merrimack and the Monitor, such as the battles, the crews, ship design, winners, and losers. While the Merrimack was destroyed by the Confederates, one can still observe the remains of the Monitor in the Mariner’s Museum in Newport News, Virginia.
