Description

Join botanist, naturalist, and long-time gardener Alan NaPier on a ramble across Connecticut to see three stand-out gardens along with the Mark Twain House and Museum in Hartford. Whiteflower Farm, Hollister House, and Wickham Park, three diverse and magical outdoor spaces, can soothe the souls of gardeners and non-gardeners alike.

After going on a guided tour of each site, you will have time to explore on your own. Although it is not truly considered to be a garden, the Mark Twain mansion, with 25 rooms, including a conservatory, sits on grounds that are beautifully landscaped. Come along for this inspirational summer ramble! Leave from the Oasis parking lot at 7am on July 19 and return to Syracuse by 7 pm on July 20.

Trip cost: $389 for double occupancy and $469 for single occupancy. A $100 deposit is required with registration.  Final payment is due June 15. Full refund up until June 15. Register by calling Sandy Roberts at Oasis at 315-464-4568.
