Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Reinhold Niebuhr, Howard Thurman, Dorothy Day, and Abraham Heschel represent some of the most influential voices in how religion helped shape social justice issues in the last 100 years. In this class we’ll watch a video about and then discuss how each person influenced 20th Century events and religious consciousness. Note: No class 11/24.
