Description

During the pandemic, many of us have had to rely on virtual visits with our older family members. Now that we’ve mastered the technology and seen the benefits, we may want to continue to do so after the pandemic ends. This session will address practical, supportive, engaging and effective ways to communicate with older adults virtually, including those with cognitive impairment. The presenter will share what she has learned as a professional working within a long-term care setting and on a personal level with her own family. Come prepared to share what you have learned as well as the challenges you may have experienced.
