This meditative drawing uses simple shapes named tangles and a black pen, pencil and paper. It was developed 20 years ago in Massachusetts by Maria Thomas, a calligrapher and botanical illustrator, and her husband Rick Thomas, a monk, with a focus on gratitude and appreciation.
