Teens Teach Technology is a youth-led nonprofit organization founded in May 2020. Members are a community of high school students striving to bridge the generational gap and empower older adults by teaching technology basics. Participating students are located in 18 states across the U.S. and span seven countries, including India, Canada, Taiwan, China and Egypt. This social media class will review the basics of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, including downloading the app, creating an account, adding friends, posting pictures, following an account, managing direct messages, commenting and the difference between private and public accounts. If you have ever wanted to feel more connected through technology, this class is for you.
