When researching family history, we often uncover so much information that our research produces nothing but boring lists. This course will demonstrate how to bring your family tree to life by placing family stories in historical context. You will learn:
- how to bring your family tree to life by placing your own family stories in historical context,
- how to organize material and break down your writing tasks into small manageable pieces,
- effective ways to illustrate where your family fits in with local, national and world history.
Prerequisite: Basic writing skills and knowledge of family history.
