Explore a handful of basic Yoga poses in this informal workshop. Learn the origin of each pose as we touch on ancient Yogic mythology–the stories told long ago. Explore the nuances: the mind‐body, and postural awareness’, and common challenges associated with each pose. Experience “doing” the poses as Yvonne breaks down “how to” while building from the easiest to the more complex variations, while using Yoga props to show how the poses can be more accessible. Level: Beginner/Intermediate. Note: This is a continuation of last trimester’s workshop and different poses will be explored. Please dress comfortably and bring a Yoga mat. Blocks & ties will be available onsite–feel free to bring your own.
