Description
The 2022-23 Court brought new Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to the bench, although the 6-3 domination of conservative Justices remained unchanged. Still, the session showed some interesting alignments in a range of decisions affecting such issues as voting rights, Native adoptions, affirmative action, Executive authority and a variety of First Amendment questions. We will also examine a few of the less publicized but always interesting cases brought to the Court and look into what the new session might bring.
